We are Safari Club International and our motto is: SCI-First for Hunters! This reflects our philosophy and our actions. SCI is to Hunters what the NRA is to Gun Owners! Our Mission is to Protect the Freedom to Hunt and Promote Wildlife Conservation Worldwide. This includes doing battle with the Anti-Hunting forces to maintain current hunting rights and opportunities, AND to assure that the next generation will see these same hunting opportunities that We enjoy today!

What sets SCI apart is our dedication to political action. With our full-time staffs in Tucson, AZ and Washington D.C. SCI acts as watchdog over all new Congressional Legislation To fight vigilantly for your freedom to hunt.
Through SCI-PAC(Safari Club International Political Action Committee) Working very closely with the Congressional Sportsman’s Caucus SCI has helped sportsmen prevail in every federal legislation hunting Issue since the late 1980’s. SCI-PACs efforts benefit ALL hunters, both here in Utah and across the United States. Your support of the Utah Chapter along With the more than 50,000 other members of SCI make our goals Become reality! Our greatest strength is in our numbers. When you, your family members and your hunting buddies all join SCI we speak with a voice that no politician can ignore when Deciding on issues that affect our vital interests.

Part of the proceeds from our annual Banquet support our SCI full-time staffs In Tucson and Washington, the rest is invested in projects here in Utah. This year we sponsored our 4th Buffalo Hunt for two hunters with disabilities. In December, Dayna Nichols and Jason Peel each harvested a large buffalo bull, From which we were able to donate over 700 pounds of prime meat to the Salvation Army. Our Youth Activities are equally successful. In 2007 we sponsored five young hunters To hunt wild sheep/goats and large feral hogs at the RiverBend Trophy Ranch and had an absolutely wonderful day under very real hunting conditions. All five hunters harvested trophies. In 2008 we will again sponsor five youth to hunt the RiverBend Trophy Ranch For trophy sheep and large feral hogs on March 22nd. We also sponsored four young hunters to attend the week-long Apprentice Hunters Camp in Del Rio, Texas, a Partnership between SCI Foundation and the IndianHead Ranch. The camp provides A tremendous opportunity for young hunters to learn and experience all aspects of hunting and the outdoors. We received tremendous positive feedback from our attendees.

These projects are possible ONLY with Your Support!

Thank you.
