SCI Utah Chapter 2008 Youth Hunt

March 22nd was a perfect day to take a group of young hunters afield. We selected six lucky youth at our 2008 Banquet just one week before.

On a beautiful, sunny 50 degree day we all met at the RiverBend Trophy Ranch near Corrine, Utah to hunt large feral hogs, and a variety of wild sheep and goats. Our main Guide, Todd Yates explained how the day's hunting would unfold. After our firearms safety session and rifle sighting, our group of youth hunters, SCI Board members, guides, family and friends headed out to begin our hunt.

What a wonderful day. Within three hours our young hunters had their trophies on the ground, including five large hogs weighing from 600 - 900 lbs., and a very nice black trophy spanish goat.

Congratulations to our 2008 Youth Hunters, Sasha Freed, Jack Van Gerwen,Taylor Anderson, Collin DeVino, Colton Lyman and Brinton Neff!

Thank you to our SCI Utah supporters and Todd Yates for making this project possible.
